A new pouch available in my shop. This pouch is great for anything - pencil case, cosmetics, sewing case and so on. It is made with mixed linens (some old) and cotton fabrics. All is hand appliqued and hand embroidered.

Some lovely new cushions available in my shop. The last few days I've been working with some of my favourite fabrics. I have a lot of things on the go which I hope to finish soon. I've designed a sweet cot quilt to go with these cushions I just have to finish the applique and then I can finish it off!

Yesterday I prepared the bases for some new goodies for my shop. I started with acouple of favourite fabrics and my colour palette went from there. I have so many small pieces and so decided to make some things with them. I cut out squares in different sizes and my project have come into being from there! From one ideas arrives another so hopefully I'll find the time to make them before I forget and move onto the next thing!!!!

This linen bag was made for a customer here in Italy. It is made with linen, some old and is hand embroidered. It has a long strap so it can be worn across the shoulder and has a zip closure. It is lined with lovely old red ecru check fabric and has a row of pockets.

I've had this hand embroidered blue vintage tablecloth for a while. I bought it at the antique market here in Italy. I purchased it with the intention of maling things with it. I've finally understood how to insert zips so today I made this sweet little pouch!
These cushions are for a special order which I have been procrastinating about for sometime now! I finally finished them. I used beautiful antique hemp linen for the base and then appliqued lovely linen and cotton fabrics with some antique trim. I finished them off with so French inspired embroidery. Hopefully my customer likes them!

I finally finished this lovely pouch yesterday, I started it more than a month ago. I used antique hemp linen and trims combined with some new fabrics. I embroidered lovely hearts on it and appliqued an old monogram inside as well. This pouch is great to carry around ones sewing need as it has ample space for pins and needs and a large pocket which can carry a small hoop, scissors, embroidery floss and so on. Go in my shop.
I made these pouches today one for a lovely customer and the other for my shop. I used lovely linen and cotton fabrics, the center piece is antique linen. My customer loves cherries so I applied some cherries in the center with felt and pinished off the pouches with trims.

I'm slowly getting back into creating new things after being too busy!! Ever since I started sewing a few years ago I've seen these sweet storage containers in many Japanese craft books.I've been wanting to make my own version for some time now and have finally gotten around to it! These are quite small and are made mainly with to types of antique linen combined with a little patchwork at one end. They are so very useful, great to store hair accessories, jewellery, stationary, sewing needs or even can be used to serve biscuits etc.
